Nutrition Atlanta respects your personal decision to have bariatric surgery. We want to collaborate with you to ensure that your weight loss surgery will be a long-term success. The best way to create that future is through compassionate care and easy-to-follow nutrition and lifestyle guidelines.

Our goal is that you walk away feeling confident to make the necessary pre-op changes with food so that you can sustain the changes before, during, and after surgery.  Jennifer has successfully guided thousands of bariatric patients with Wellstar Health System and Dr. Fritz Jean-Pierre both pre- and post weight loss surgery counseling and will provide you with the nutrition education and lifestyle tools you will need to be successful.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

What you'll experience during your 80-minute Pre-Surgery Bariatric Nutrition Evaluation (in person or virtual):

  • Thorough medical and health history
  • Review your current diet, past diets, and weight history
  • Discuss any current and relevant blood work
  • Review medical/health history 
  • Extensive review of Bariatric Nutrition Booklet (pdf) 
  • 20 minute follow-up appointment (virtual)
  • Superbill/invoice to file with your insurance company
  • Necessary Bariatric Nutrition Evaluation paperwork for your insurance company

 Once you've purchased your Bariatric Nutrition Evaluation you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions on how to get started.  Congratulations for making an important decision in your surgery journey!
